Documents rarely arrive in the shape you need. A scanner puts pages in reverse, feeds two sheets at once, or captures a landscape table sideways. A colleague sends a report with three blank separator pages in the middle.

How to organize PDF pages

Three steps, and nothing to install.

Open the document

Drag your PDF in. Every page appears as a thumbnail — down the left side on a desktop, and behind the Pages button on a phone.

Rearrange and fix

Drag thumbnails to reorder — by the grip on a phone. Then rotate, duplicate, delete, insert a blank page or extract to a new file: right-click on a desktop, or use the action bar on a phone. Both work on a whole selection at once.

Export the tidied document

Press Export PDF. Page rotation and cropping are written into the file properly, so it opens the right way up everywhere.

Rotation that sticks

Rotating a sideways scan writes the correct orientation into the exported file rather than merely turning the on-screen preview.

Crop away the junk

Trim scanner shadows and oversized margins with the crop tool, applied per page. Exporting removes the content that falls outside the crop rather than merely hiding it — though anything straddling the crop line is kept whole, so a heading half in view is not cut in two.

Extract without starting over

Select any pages and choose Extract to pull them straight into a new PDF while the original stays open and untouched.

The things people ask most about this tool.

How do I select several pages at once?

On a desktop, Ctrl-click (Cmd-click on a Mac) adds individual pages to a selection and Shift-click selects a continuous run, then right-click applies your action to all of them. On a phone, press and hold a page to start a selection, tap to add more, and use the action bar.

Can I insert pages from another PDF?

Yes. Use Add file to open the second document — its pages join the current one, and you can then drag them into position.

Does rotating a page affect its text?

No. Rotation is recorded as a page property, so text stays selectable and searchable in the exported document.

Can I undo a deletion?

Yes. Ctrl+Z restores deleted pages, and the full history goes back fifty steps.

What if I only need a few pages from a long document?

Select them in the sidebar and choose Extract to new PDF — faster than deleting everything else.
