Will my formatting be preserved?

Text and paragraph order are preserved; fonts, columns, tables and exact positioning are not. The output is designed to be edited, not to be a facsimile.

Can I convert a scanned PDF to Word?

No. A scan is an image of text with no text data to extract. That needs OCR, which PeppyPDF does not currently offer.

Which file format do I get?

A standard .docx that opens in Microsoft Word, LibreOffice Writer, Google Docs and Apple Pages.

Is there a page limit?

No. Conversion runs locally, so long documents simply take a little longer.

What if I only need to fix a few words?

Do not convert at all — use the Edit text tool to change the words in the PDF directly, keeping the layout and fonts intact.
